June Perg Floyd, born in 1934 in Michigan, is a mother of four who has traveled and lived throughout the United States and Canada. She studied music and later completed her education as a registered nurse.
It wasn't until 1998 that Mrs. Floyd was finally able to fulfill her dream to paint the landscapes and seascapes that she previously captured on film.
Mrs. Floyd is a Founding 2000 member of "The Joseph House Gallery Cooperative" in Columbus, Georgia, a member of the "Columbus Artists' Guild", the "Phenix City Art Council" in Phenix City, Alabama, and a supporter of both the "Columbus Weracoba/St. Elmo Preservation Society" and the "Historic Columbus Foundation".
