Jean Berger Goldstein is a member of the Southern, Georgia and Alabama Societies as well as the Columbus Artists' Guild, Phenix City Arts Council, and the Joseph House Gallery. She has received numerous awards at area shows, and has been featured on the Georgia Artists Guild (Albany, GA) 2004 calendar.

Her credits include the Parsons School of Design, University of Alabama, and she has studied Watercolors with Paul Koenen, Tom Lynch, and Tom Jones, and Acrylics with Milton Lenoir.

She is quite versatile in her media, which include Watercolor, Pastel and Acrylics, as well as portraits of both people and animals, seascapes, landscapes, still lifes and florals. A native Alabamian living in Hurtsboro, Jean teaches an ongoing class in watercolor technique at the Hurtsboro Public Library where she is an active volunteer. Her Hurtsboro, AL studio and gallery is located on Main Street and is open by appointment.
