Rebecca was born in east Tennessee and has also lived in Georgia, Virginia, Samoa and Hawaii. She has taken
numerous are courses from mixed media at William & Mary College to batiking at the University of Hawaii. She
currently exhibits her work at the Joseph House Gallery in Columbus, GA, and at the Arts Council Gallery in
Athens, TN. She has a studio at her home where she works and teaches private lessons.

"I have a flower garden which provides inspiration for the florals that I paint. I still love bright colors. I also do some
paintings from my travels. Although I spent most of my professional career in teaching and at Whirlpool
Corporation, art has always been a big part of my life. I have always been an artist."
