June Perg Floyd, born in 1934 in Michigan, is a mother of four who has traveled and lived throughout the United
States and Canada. She studied  music and later completed her education as a registered nurse.

It wasn't until 1998 that Mrs. Floyd was finally able to fulfill her dream to paint the landscapes and seascapes that
she previously captured on film.

Mrs. Floyd is a Founding 2000 member of "The Joseph House Gallery Cooperative" in Columbus, Georgia, and a
supporter of both the Columbus Weracoba/St. Elmo Preservation Society,  Historic Columbus Foundation, and
Arts on the river.  Since coming  to Phenix City, Alabama,   Floyd has participated in the Phenix City Art Expo, the
Phenix City Art Center Open House,and the painting of a 24 x 100 foot mural on a wall in Idle Hour Park depicting
the history of Idle Hour Park during World War II.  The mural included paintings of the roller rink, swimming pool,
boats,  planes, Ferris wheel and zoo.

PAST ASSOCIATIONS AND EVENTS:

*    The Columbus Artists' Guild's Wild and Wonderful and Tall Tales at Miriam's
Café and Gallery (proceeds to charity).
*    The Columbus Artists' Guild's Members' Art Exhibition.
*    The Uptown Alive art show at the Olive Branch Café in Columbus.
*    The Joseph House Gallery Cooperative Grand Opening.
*    The Mini-Art Christmas Tree by the artists of the Joseph House (proceeds
benefit charity)
*    Showings at Miriam's Café and Gallery, the Olive Branch, and Luna Azura in
Columbus, GA.
*    Donated pieces of her works to benefit various charities.
*    Participates annually in Arts in the Park, sponsored by the Weracoba/St. Elmo Preservation Society during the
month of May.
