Art Works Gallery features a group of regional artists presenting art in many forms: Wood, Stained,
blown and fused glass, paintings, drawings, pottery, jewelry, photography and Precious Metal Clay, to
name a few. They offer a myriad of classes and workshops, and there is a link near the top of this page.
Hours are from 11 am till 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday, but they will also open by appointment. If you
drive north on Rt. 27 from Columbus, about a 35 minute drive, just past Callaway Gardens, you will come
to the quaint little town of Pine Mountain, GA. Turn right onto Broad Street, by the big flag, and one
block off 27 is the Gallery with it's large size train mural on the side of the building. The old caboose
stands on the left across the street. The artists of Art Works painted the train mural.
Fees for classes are more than reasonable, and often supplies are included in the price of the class.
Noted artists such as Dick Millman, Brenda Stevens, Faith Birkhead, Debra Quillen, Jennifer
Thomas-Clark and many others present and share their talents to students in numbers small enough to
allow personal attention by the instructor.
